Developed by Revolving Games and Gala Games, in collaboration with Universal Games and Digital Platforms, Battlestar Galactica Eternity takes place in the same universe as the re-imagined series which aired for four seasons from 2003 – 2009 on SYFY. Players find themselves among the scattered remnants on the outskirts of the Twelve Colonies following a surprise Cylon attack.

Those that remain have vowed to retake the Cyrannus System, driving the enemy from their rightful home. The survivors will need to pull together, rebuild their forces and work as a team to establish footholds in enemy territory.

Gameplay style

Battlestar Galactica Eternity is a 4x Strategy MMO that places the player in full control of their economic and territorial ambitions. The game will feature an extensive map that delivers conquest-focused gameplay where large-scale combat plays a central role.

The largest battles will require team coordination. Often no single player, ship, or officer can be the deciding factor of victory. Sharing intelligence, battle reports, and scouting information are critical in gaining the edge you and your team will need to succeed.

Seasons

The start of every season will replay the surprise Cylon attack on Humanity. Each season will have phases generally focused on three main goals: Rebuild → Reunite → Reclaim.

Each phase is critical as humanity pushes closer to defeating the Cylons. At the end of a season, the galaxy is reset. This allows for a fresh run of Colonial reclamation and conquest of the Cylons. Each season, players will have a better understanding of the tactics required to achieve victory.

Rebuild Together

The Twelve Colonies represent individual factions in the game. Players will pick a faction at the beginning of a season, which will bring access to distinct benefits that reflect different playstyles.

Each season will feature a chance for factions to compete against one another. Your faction shares your interest and goals, and you’ll need to develop relationships and work within the community to ultimately dominate as a team.

Own Your Fleet

Within Battlestar Galactica Eternity, there are ships and officers that can be fully owned by players. These in-game items will allow players the option to carry forward progression from season to season.

It is expected that each individual ship and officer can be used in-game by owners, and can also be freely bought and sold on secondary markets. This means players can try out different strategies and new allies in their bid to become the most dominant Colony.

Ownership of game items isn’t required to play. Ships and officers can potentially be earned as gameplay in-game rewards for those who do not purchase any playable NFTs.
